Baloch people who are religiously secular and Balochistan have been hosting and accommodating people irrespective of their religion. In 1948, the Baloch people and the Baloch representative bodies, Upper House Parliament and the Lower House parliament all rejected the Islamic state Pakistan request for annexation to make a larger Islamic state.

The Baloch people stance to oppose annexation with Pakistan was:

” Only by the virtue of being Muslims, we cannot abolish our thousands years of history, language, culture, norms, traditions, sovereignty, and our secular identity to merge with the Islamic state Pakistan”.

In March 1948, the Pakistani Army started invading and occupying the Baloch land and annexed Balochistan into Pakistan after forced occupation. The Baloch people never accepted this forced annexation and resisted against this illegal occupation.

Since then the Baloch people are facing military operations, Ariel Bombardments, involuntary disappearances, extra-judicial killings, unearthing of Mass graves, economic, cultural and linguistic and social marginalization. The Baloch land and the Baloch people subjected to a process of Islamization and ruled as a colony of the Islamic fundamental state. But the Baloch people at large kept on resisting and till date they are resisting.
